Heroes Night Out
Hereos Night Out is a non-profit that provides "Wallets" contaning 6 $50 gift cards from local area restaraunts to disabled and injured veterans. These small gestures help the soldiers and their families to heal their hearts.
The site is a Drupal 6.x install that uses some custom views and some custom panel views to display nodes on the Special Thanks page as well as the Donations page. It also uses the simple paypal framework so that visitors to the site can make donations, of which 100% is used to purchase the gift cards.
Briarcliff, Texas
Briarcliff, Texas had two seperate websites, one for the Property Owners Association and another for the City Council. TrintroniX was tasked to merge the two into one site as well as provide role based administration.
To keep costs down we built a new site on top of their existing archetcture using ASP-VBScript and connected the site to a Miscrosft SQL Database. The design allowed us to merge the two sites into a single website, while maintaining the necessary separation of the two organizations.
High Density Packaging User Group (HDPUG)
A very complex Drupal 6.x implementation that contains multiple site sections, several custom modules, and a very complex project management work flow. The site design was done by HDPUG, and through several days of class room and online training, HDPUG has now taken ownership of the majority of thier sites development. They still call on TrintroniX from time to time when they get stuck or encounter something new that wasn't covered in training. Some of the custom modules included a search engine modification, views module modification, and finally an uber-cart modification.
Clean Air Partners
Clean Air Partners is a non-profit organization established by the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority to help businesses calculate their carbon footprint and provides tools through their website to help these businesses reduce their overall carbon emissions. Their site was built using ASP.NET on the 2.X .NET framework and is connected to a very large database that captures and reports on all of emmissions data entered by their partners. TrintroniX maintains the site, database and all of the email lists that send out OZONE alerts for the state of Texas.
Utopian Cruises
We like to include Utopian Cruises on our portfolio page as a way of saying Thank You to Mitch and Louise, who own and operate Utopian Cruises, and was our very first site that we developed. It's a pretty simple site written in ASP-VBscript that includes a psuedo content management system that allows Utopian Cruises to edit and create new pages as well as manage email marketing directly from their site. It has an MS SQL backend database and uses some very old javascript functions that have the same capabilities as AJAX before it was called AJAX.
Kidstruction Playground & Shade Structures
The Kidstruction site is yet another Drupal 6.x implementation. It uses quite a few custom built views and panels to build out all of the navigation as well as display their products. I started to use Ubercart in order to hold all of their products, but since there was never any intent on selling their products on line, we finally decided on using CCK to build a custom content type in order to capture all the product information. This site is also heavy with Taxonomy, so that the online catalog can be sorted and filtered in numerous different ways.
PSS World Medical
PSS was another Drupal deployment and a very complex Taxonomy based catalog with custom built Views and Panel Pages. The site also features a Featured Products slide show on the home page. The products can be added or removed by simply adding or removing an image from a specific CCK field in the content type. Each level of the catalog associates to either a menu item or a specific panel page. The parent items appear in the left side navigation, which links directly to a secondary panel page. Each item listed on the secondary panel page directly links to a tertiary panel page.
